Rhonel T. Aquino
Rhonel T. Aquino is a graduate of Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California. While in law school, he served in law review as a member of the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review. Mr. Aquino received his undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University.
Mr. Aquino has served as the lead litigation and trial attorney in over 150 cases, successfully representing both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts. He has extensive experience in employment law, especially issues pertaining to wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment and wage/hour claims. Having represented both plaintiffs and defendants, Mr. Aquino has developed a keen and invaluable insight into how the other side is thinking and also being able to gauge the progress of the litigation from both sides. Mr. Aquino has served as an arbitrator and a Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles Superior Court. Mr. Aquino has represented in excess of 500 clients since he began practicing law in 1997.
He is an active member of the State Bar of California. Mr. Aquino is currently or has been a member of the following legal organizations: American Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Pasadena Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, Philippine American Bar Association, Multi-Cultural Bar Association, National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and the California Employment Lawyers Association.
Because of Mr. Aquino's extensive litigation and legal experience, he has served as a referral/panel attorney for such organizations as the Beverly Hills Bar Association, San Gabriel Valley Bar Association, Hyatt Legal Plans-A MetLife Company, ARAG Legal Insurance, Disability Rights Legal Center, Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. and the Legal Grind.
He has more than 26 years of combined legal and non-legal work experience. His legal work experience includes working for the U.S. District Court, Bank of America’s legal department and AQUINO & AQUINO, a family-owned law firm operated by his father and sister, both of whom are also attorneys. His non-legal work experience includes working for such companies as Kodak, Ticor Title Insurance Company, Wells Fargo Bank, United Personnel, Loyola Marymount University, Sears and May Co.
Mr. Aquino has volunteered his time and donated money to the following worthy, non-profit legal organizations: Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, Asian Pacific American Legal Center, the Harriet Buhai Center for Family Law and the Downs Syndrome Association of Los Angeles.
Arleen E. Delos Santos, Of Counsel
Arleen E. Delos Santos is a graduate of Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California. While in law school, she served as a legal research assistant at Loyola Law School, a law clerk at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, a law clerk at the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office, a law clerk at the Office of General Counsel of the Los Angeles Unified School District and as a Conciliator for the Center for Conflict Resolution at Loyola Law School. She also served as a member of the Hobbs Trial Advocacy Clinic and received the American Jurisprudence Award in Trial Advocacy. Ms. Delos Santos received her undergraduate degree at the University of Oklahoma. While in college, she served as a legal research assistant at the University of Oklahoma Educational Leadership & Policy Studies and was listed in the President's Honor Roll, Dean's List and National Dean's List.
Ms. Delos Santos was previously employed as an associate attorney by Gilbert, Kelly, Crowley & Jennett, where she primarily defended employers, insurance companies and third party claim administrators. Ms. Delos Santos has been practicing law since 2002.
She is an active member of the State Bar of California.
